The Public Policy Committee is composed of high-level executives that monitor policies and legislation which affect the San Diego business community, support policies that assist in the development of opportunities for job creation and business growth, and oppose regulations that negatively affect business.

Committee Activities
The Chamber’s Public Policy Committee monitors policies and legislation that impact the San Diego business community, supports policies that assist in the development of opportunities for job creation and business growth, and opposes regulations that negatively affect business. The committee’s membership includes high-level executives and acts as the umbrella committee to which six subcommittees fall under.
Once an item has gone through one or more of the six subcommittees, Public Policy will consider the item before it moves to the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
