Chief Operating Officer
Aimee Faucett has served the communities of San Diego over 20 years while working in the legislative and executive branches of the City of San Diego and voluntarily serves on several non-profit boards. Today, Aimee holds the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. In this role Aimee oversees the Chamber’s day to day operations, directs public policy initiatives, and develops and implements long-term goals and strategies to ensure the organization is meeting its goal of making San Diego the most business friendly region in California.
Prior to joining the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce she was the Deputy Chief of Staff to former Mayor Jerry Sanders and also served as Chief of Staff to former San Diego City Councilmembers Kevin L. Faulconer and Jim Madaffer where she oversaw the day-to-day operations and was responsible for community representation, policy, communications, office management and legislative relations. Her first position with the City of San Diego was a community liaison for former Councilmember Judy McCarty.
Aimee’s community service includes serving on the board of directors for the San Diego Convention Center Corporation, Jacobs Cushman San Diego Food Bank, San Diego City College Foundation, San Diego State Alumni Association, and the Statewide Board for the California Women’s Leadership Association. Recently, she served on the Citizens Stadium Advisory Group.
Aimee is a graduate of San Diego State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. In 2004, she was selected by San Diego Metropolitan for “Forty Under Forty Honor Roll” and by the San Diego Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business” in 2014.
