Join the largest binational delegation to Washington, D.C. to voice your business needs and collaborate with San Diego’s business leaders while meeting with the nation’s top legislators and policy officials.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to:

  • Participate in high-level meetings with U.S. administration officials and agencies, such as Department of Transportation, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Department of State, Housing & Urban Development and many others
  • Gain access to our country’s key decision makers and advocate for local and regional issues important to business growth and creation of jobs in the Cali-Baja region
  • Network and make invaluable connections with elected officials on the local, state and federal level, as well as other community members

Trip Itinerary

We are still in the process of developing the agenda. For your traveling purposes, please plan to arrive in D.C. before the Welcome Reception on Sunday, 09/24 at 7:00 pm.  The last meeting will end on Wednesday, 09/27 at 11:00 am – be sure to stick around for some exciting giveaways at the end of the trip!

We have secured a special room rate of $304++ per night for standard rooms between September 24-27, 2017.

Reserve online here or call 877-212-5752 and mention the “San Diego Regional Chamber” room block.

Reservations must be made by 3:00 pm (PT), Thursday, September 5, 2017. After September 5, the hotel will confirm reservations based on availability at the current rate.


FLYING TO D.C.

Airports:

  1. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport – DCA
    5.3 miles to hotel | Estimated taxi fare: $18 (one way)
  2. Washington Dulles International Airport – IAD
    27.1 miles to hotel | Estimated taxi fare: $65 (one way)
  3. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport – BWI
    36.3 miles to hotel | Estimated taxi fare: $70 (one way)

Southwest Airlines, among others, offers nonstop flights to BWI Airport, which is a 45-minute drive to D.C.  For those who prefer to arrive closer to the hotel – DCA Airport is a 15-minute drive to the hotel, but may not have nonstop flights. Please book your flights soon, as they may sell-out.  

Most delegates arrive in the afternoon on Sunday (September 24), prior to the Welcome Reception at 7:00 PM.

The participation fees below do not include hotel or airfare. Fees include hosted events and meetings.

All applications must be submitted by Tuesday, September 19.

Non-members: $2,800

Between 07/29/17 – 09/08/17:
Chamber members: $2,300

Cancellation Policy

If canceled by September 15, 2017, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
If canceled between September 16 – 22, 2017, 75% of the registration fee will be refunded.
If canceled after September 22, 2017, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
