Adrian Granda

Adrian Granda is the Deputy Director of the City of San Diego's Department of Government Affairs, helping to manage federal, state, and local legislative advocacy on behalf of the City. Responsibilities include management of the citywide grants coordination team, as well as coordination with local agencies including the Port Commission, Airport Authority, MTS, SANDAG, Regional Task Force on the Homeless, as well as the County of San Diego and other local jurisdictions. Adrian Granda has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in political science from the California State University, Long Beach, where he focused on international relations, political theory, and statistical analysis. Prior to joining the City of San Diego Department of Government Affairs, Adrian served as a Policy Advisor for San Diego County Supervisor Roberts overseeing land use, public safety, and economic development policy. Adrian also worked at the City of San Diego in the Council District Three office for five years, where he served as Director of Communications for Councilmember Todd Gloria as well as advising on land use, transportation, public safety, and economic development.
