Charlotte joined Neighborhood House Association (NHA) where she served the Vice President of Children Youth and Family Services as Area Director in 2013. She was promoted as is presently the Chief Strategy Officer at NHA where she manages early childhood education facilities and programs as well as develops local, state, and national legislative strategies. She is a member of the San Diego County Child Care Development Planning Council, completed the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Advance Executive Leadership Program, and is President-elect of the SDSU Alumni Association Board of Advisors. She also received the 79th District Hispanic-American Heritage Outstanding Service Award from California State Assembly Member Shirley N. Weber. Charlotte has a strong community services background and is experienced in strategic planning and education advocacy. She has extensive experience in assisting organizations with developing external collaborations and restructuring internal Department functions. A strong advocate for early childhood education, she is involved in policy development both at the state and national level. Charlotte has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from SDSU, a B.A. in Political Science from University of California, San Diego and has earned a Management Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management.
