Charlotte Ochiqui has a strong community services background and is experienced in assisting organizations with strategic planning, education, and advocacy. She has extensive experience in assisting organizations with developing external collaborations and restructuring internal Department functions. A strong advocate for early childhood education, she is involved in policy development both at the state and national level. Charlotte has an M.A. in Public Administration from SDSU, where through her graduate work, she was instrumental in establishing a binational degree program between UABC and SDSU through the Institute for Regional Studies of the California's. She also has a B.A. in Political Science from UCSD, has earned a Management Certificate from the UCLA John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management and has completed the ADVANCE leadership program from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. Charlotte joined Neighborhood House Association in 2013 where she served the Vice President of Children Youth and Family Services (CYFS) and was promoted to Area Director in 2014. Charlotte is currently Chief Strategy Officer at NHA where she manages early childhood education advocacy teams and develops local, state, and national legislative strategies. She is also a member of the SDSU Alumni Board of Advisors.
