Mr. Johnson is a Director at Calpine Energy Solutions where he specializes in extracting market value for commercial and industrial clients in deregulated energy markets. He has been involved in deregulated retail electricity markets since their inception in the United States: being on the ground floor to bring customer choice to both the California and Texas markets. Since this beginning Mr. Johnson has worked with clients in every market where customer choice exists in the United States. Subsequently, Mr. Johnson brought market value to clients in Mexico by directing Calpine Energy Solutions' highly successful cross border electric energy program. The success of Mexico importers has lead to Mr. Johnson's involvement with: Mexico’s governmental agencies, involvement with other allowable generation programs, Mexico Energy Reform and development of intellectual proprietary solutions specific to Mexico.
