Mark Robak

Mark Robak has been on the Otay Water District Board of Directors since 2004, when he was first elected. Otay is the second largest water agency in San Diego County (after the City of San Diego) and serves a population of approximately 225,000 people in the southeastern portion of the County of San Diego, from Mt. Helix/La Mesa south to border with Mexico. As a member of the District’s board, he is currently Vice President, having previously served as its President and Treasurer. He is also a member of the San Diego Metro Wastewater Joint Powers Authority, which he previously chaired, and consists of twelve local cities and public agencies. The JPA shares in the use of the City of San Diego's regional wastewater facilities. Mr. Robak is a Commercial Real Estate Broker, the owner of SDCRE and has been in the commercial real estate field for nearly 30 years. He has extensive experience with both large and small companies and with investors in development, leasing and sales of properties. He also serves on the Board of Commercial Real Estate of Alliance of San Diego. He is a graduate of San Diego State University, where he is a Lifetime Alumni. He is an active in other community organizations as a volunteer, having served on the San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boys Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, Lions Club and other local charitable organizations.
