Victoria Barbra joins Brownstein as a Policy Assistant in the San Diego office, after serving for the past three years as Executive Assistant/Director of Community Outreach for San Diego City Councilmember David Alvarez. She previously interned for Congressman Juan Vargas. Having served on several high profile local City of San Diego Democratic political campaigns--as Director of Volunteer Outreach, Fundraising Coordinator and Field Director--Victoria has deep roots, social commitment and extensive experience serving communities throughout south San Diego County. Victoria graduated from the University of California, San Diego, in June 2015 with a B.A. in Political Science. She was elected to the San Diego County Democratic Party Central Committee in 2016, and has served as President of the South Bay Democratic Club since that same time. She is a graduate of the San Diego County Water Authority's Citizens Water Academy.
