Trends and Investment Opportunities for Mixed-Use Developments
Cities around the world and our binational region are seeing a resurgence of mixed-use developments. Before the arrival of cars and highways, most development concentrated in urban areas where residents walked from home to work or school, but then trends changed and people headed for the suburbs. Nowadays, mixed-use developments are popular again, blending business, retail, and residential spaces and allowing residents, tenants, and visitors to coexist in a pedestrian-friendly environment.
While mixed-used development is not new, it is an always-evolving sector adapting to meet the needs of our communities. Join us for our upcoming Cross-Border Forum on October 30th in Tijuana, where a panel of experts will share current trends and investment opportunities in mixed-use development in Tijuana and San Diego.
Panelists will share insight on their experience as investors and developers and answer some key questions such as:
- What are the investment and/or partnership opportunities in mixed-use development in Baja California?
- What is the future of mixed-use development and what opportunities will it bring to our Cali-Baja regional economy?
About the Cross-Border Business Forums
Through the Cross-Border Business Forums, the Chamber provides business leaders the essential knowledge and resources needed to thrive within the binational marketplace. Attendees also have the opportunity to build and strengthen new relationships, exchange ideas, and debate policies that are relevant to the Cali-Baja business community.
Meetings are held quarterly, and alternate between the San Diego Regional Chamber office and Tijuana.
