Cancelled: Disaster Preparedness Academy

March 20, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Event Navigation

Cancelled: The coronavirus situation is a rapidly evolving global concern.  We were recently made aware that the venue where we were to hold next week’s Disaster Preparedness Academy is not allowing groups larger than 25. Some of our expert panelists also had to cancel to focus on the management of this developing situation at their organizations. As a result, we are cancelling the event.

The Chamber will issue full refunds for all registration fees. Participants will receive individual emails with refund confirmation.

As a community, it is important that we stay up to date on the status of coronavirus locally. The County of San Diego’s new website is a good resource, updated each weekday with real-time information on what is happening locally. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and CDC are also reliable sources for information and best practices on preparation for coronavirus impacts.

Join the American Red Cross of San Diego/Imperial Counties and the San Diego Regional Chamber for the sixth annual Disaster Preparedness Academy. Participants will gain valuable skills and insights necessary to protect their business, employees, family and community from potential impacts of disasters or emergencies.

Topics presented will include:
