The Chamber is excited to partner with DeVry University to bring valuable workshop content geared to the entrepreneur/small business owner.

A manager can make or break a company! Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh once estimated bad hires had cost the company “well over $100 million. Flawed hiring practices hurt large and small companies. Remember, when Instagram was purchased for $1 billion by Facebook in 2013, it had just 13 employees! The right employee can make you grow, or hold you back. Learn how to be the right employee (in an interview) too.

Workshop presented by Dr. Ali Gooyabadi, DeVry University

Dr. Gooyabadi has held high-level executive positions in multinational corporations and has been conducting executive coaching on a regular basis since 2009. He could be called an educator, strategist, c-level executive, technology expert, as well as an “edupreneur” due to his ample experience as a consultant, executive coach, mentor, professor and a businessman in the USA, the Middle East, and Asia region. Here is a brief review of his qualifications: Ph.D. Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) University of Colorado, Ph.D. Research at US Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs (3 year grant from NASA’s Center for Space Construction and Control) M.S.
