The Chamber joined member, San Diego Unified School District, at Crawford High School for a national project that gives free mobile hotspots to students whose family can’t afford Internet access. The 1Million Project, in partnership with Sprint, addresses the “digital divide” contributing to the achievement gap among students in San Diego.
The district initially provided the students with computers and added internet access through this initiative for use at students’ homes.
