Cross-Border Consulting

San Diego State University, Center for International Business Education and Research (SDSU CIBER) is a national center of excellence funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. One of 17 centers nationwide located in the Fowler College of Business, SDSU CIBER assists in linking work force and information needs of U.S. business with the international education, language training, and research capacities of universities across the U.S.

Cross-Border Consulting (CBC) is a unique program designed with support provided by SDSU CIBER.  MBA and graduate students work with businesses to provide valuable consultation services addressing a company’s global opportunities/challenges. Students from a consortium of regional Universities (CETYS, San Diego State University, UC San Diego and University of San Diego) compete for placement on teams that work with clients over four months to find solutions. Clients receive high-quality, actionable recommendations meticulously researched and professionally presented.

For more information on how you can leverage one of CBC’s teams to assist your business, please contact Nancy Nicholson at nnicholson@sdsu.edu.
