The City of San Diego is in the beginning stages of updating its Economic Development Strategy and the Chamber is taking the lead on feedback collection through a monthly working group that will produce formal recommendations for the new strategy.
One of the major focuses of the working group is supporting small businesses and the City’s Business Improvement Districts. Priorities also include finalizing regulations for sidewalk vending, Temporary Outdoor Business Permits, Storefront Improvement Program, maintaining major economic partnerships, and workforce development.
The next meeting is happening September 27.
