The 10th North American Leaders Summit was recently held in Mexico City. President Joe Biden, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador of Mexico, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada convened to “promote a common vision for North America,” which included discussions on immigration, climate change, and the creation of a task force to bolster nearshoring, shifting the production of consumer goods in the U.S., Mexico and Canada in order to cut dependence from China.
