Stronger Together Community Services (STCS) is a local non-profit mental health agency providing in-person services at our Bay Park offices and telehealth psychotherapy throughout California.
STCS grew out of an overwhelming need for accessible, inclusive, and immediate mental health services for people in California. We offer therapy services for individuals, couples, families, and communities. We tackle root issues of anxiety, depression, PTSD, relational conflict, grief and loss, parenting challenges, self-esteem and confidence issues, life transitions, work stress, overwhelm, and distress.
Collaborating with counseling graduate programs in San Diego, STCS also serves as a training and education center for therapists, offering professional development opportunities. Drawing from her own experience in her master’s and doctoral programs, Dr. Brownlee realized the critical need for a safe supportive learning environment for upcoming therapists. She is a fervent advocate for diversity and inclusion within the workplace. She has actively championed multiple Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives including partnering with Trans Family Support System (TFSS), Access Living, and facilitating process groups for BIPOC community members.
The Stronger Together team also provides corporate wellness seminars and group meetings to corporations and businesses to help support leadership teams and employees. Dr. Brownlee tailors the curriculum to the needs of your staff, designing experiential workshops to help increase awareness of common mental health themes that arise in professionals. With a team of experienced therapists, Dr. Brownlee will provide education and tools on how to prioritize mental health at work, discuss challenges with work-life balance, how to manage stress, anxiety, and burnout, learn coping skills, and enhance overall emotional and mental wellness.
STCS also offers ongoing support programs:
