#SDinCanada: Chamber Attends North American Forum

Chamber VP of International and Public Affairs Kenia Zamarripa traveled to Ottawa on November 20-22 to participate in this year’s North American Forum. Our partners at the Institute of the Americas and the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy took the lead as U.S. coordinators of this year’s event in collaboration with counterpart institutions in Canada (Carleton University) and Mexico (Universidad de Monterrey).

North American cooperation and integration is key to remain globally competitive and ensure economic development and prosperity for the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. This forum enabled the Chamber to further elevate our border region and join forces with strategic partners to strategize and advocate for shared goals including economic opportunities through USMCA, strengthening regional supply chains, clean energy and climate change initiatives, and resources that advance border efficiency.

This year’s agenda featured a series of high-level panels and roundtable discussions with business and academic leaders across North America.
