The State Legislature Enters the Final Month of the 2025 Session

The California State Legislature reconvened on Monday, August 18th, resuming for the final weeks of the 2025 legislative cycle, with September 12th being the last day for each house to pass bills. We are actively engaging on a handful of bills throughout the rest of the session, so expect updates in next month’s newsletter! If you have any questions regarding the Chamber’s position or advocacy on any state bills, please feel free to reach out to Justine Murray, Executive Director of Public Affairs, at jmurray@sdchamber.org.
