Meeting with Mexico Energy Delegation

The Chamber, in partnership with the San Diego Diplomacy Council, hosted a delegation of senior energy officials from Mexico City as part of a U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership study tour focused on the U.S. energy market and bilateral cooperation. Discussions in San Diego centered on regulatory frameworks, cross-border electricity transmission, and natural gas infrastructure, as well as the role of energy policy in supporting regional investment and economic development.

The Chamber highlighted our binational advocacy efforts, with a focus on advancing cross-border infrastructure, strengthening U.S.-Mexico energy integration, the transition to zero-emission vehicles, and promoting public-private partnerships. The conversation also underscored the importance of continued coordination between federal, regional, and industry leaders to support a reliable, efficient, and competitive energy market across the CaliBaja region.
