After their final half-day session on Wednesday, November 7th, the 40 members of the 2018 Advance class were joined by friends, family, mentors, and past program participants for a graduation ceremony and mixer at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Mission Valley. Chamber and LEAD President and CEO Jerry Sanders and LEAD Co-Chair Nikki Clay (84), a strong Advance proponent and mentor, addressed attendees and personally congratulated all graduates. Attendees enjoyed networking with a hosted buffet and beverages. The 2019 Advance sessions, which are specifically designed to empower and elevate women in the workplace, will begin in May; watch for applications to be posted in early spring!
