Stephanie Boomhower

As the Director of Career Services at the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) - UC San Diego, Stephanie focuses on connecting employers with qualified graduate students. Her specific employer portfolio is working to connect local, state and federal government agencies with students. She joined GPS in June 2014 and previously covered think tanks/research centers and multilateral organizations employers. Stephanie previously, worked with MBA students at the Rady School of Management - UC San Diego, where she worked from 2006-2014 as their sole Career Development Adviser, providing comprehensive coaching, developing their career services orientation and programming from scratch, and engaging in employer relationship-building and placement. Before her position at Rady, Stephanie was the Associate Director of Career Services at the University of San Diego - School of Law, where she advised students and coordinated on-campus interview programs. Stephanie completed an M.S. in College Student Personnel and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go VOLS). Stephanie spent the majority of her childhood living in Asia and various cities throughout the U.S.
