For 10 years, Sam Attisha served on the U.S.S. Midway Museum Board, securing a $1.5 million Cox grant for its K-12 STEM programs during his tenure, and later served as a Chairman for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. As Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Cox Communications, he was instrumental in Cox fast-tracking low-income students through their school districts to get internet access for distance learning at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also secured $300,000 in COVID-response grants for Family Health Centers, Feeding San Diego, San Diego Food Bank, and Monarch School for homeless K-12 students, for which he’s on the board.
