Prop. 36 Business Workshop

September 18 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is partnering with District Attorney Summer Stephan, Mayor Todd Gloria, the San Diego Downtown Partnership, and the Gaslamp Quarter Association to host a Prop 36 educational workshop for San Diego’s business community. Participants will get to hear from District Attorney Stephan, Mayor Gloria, and representatives from the business community as to why Prop 36 is an important measure for not just California, but for San Diego’s binational region. Prop 36 is a fair and balanced approach to criminal justice reform that prioritizes mental health treatment and balances victims’ rights with criminal rights and is a meaningful step towards addressing retail theft and organized crime in San Diego.
