The Chamber hosted a roundtable discussion with California Secretary of State Alex Padilla to examine the importance of voter registration, particularly for the upcoming election season. As of August 2016, over 73 percent of eligible Californians (over 18 million) are now registered to vote, marking the second highest statewide total ever recorded.

During the meeting, attendees discussed different aspects of voter registration, including innovative outreach approaches and the importance of using technology while still conserving the integrity of the voting process and paper trail.
