Chief Operating Officer

Jaymie Bradford leads the Chamber’s strategy and vision as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Jaymie oversees the Chamber’s day-to-day operations, directs public policy initiatives, and develops and implements long-term goals and strategies to ensure the organization is striving for its vision to make the San Diego region the best place to live and work.

Jaymie joined the Chamber team in 2016 as Vice President of Public Policy and Economic Research. Prior to that role she worked in San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s office as Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Policy, managing a team that covered everything from intergovernmental and binational affairs to infrastructure, environmental and land-use policy for the city.

Jaymie has extensive experience in local government. She has worked in policy and public affairs for the City of San Diego for over a decade including for the office of Interim Mayor Todd Gloria and as Director of Intergovernmental Relations during Jerry Sanders’ tenure as Mayor of San Diego.

While earning her degree in Political Science at UC San Diego, she was a member of the NCAA Women’s Soccer team. Jaymie is Chair of the San Diego Convention Center board and also serves on the UC San Diego Chancellor’s Community Advisory Committee.
