Jimena Villaseñor-Martinez

Business Programs Manager

Jimena serves as the primary staff lead responsible for the administration and implementation of training programs, seminars, and workshops. With more than five years of experience at the Chamber, she has developed an extensive understanding of the member network, strategic partnerships, and collaborative efforts that advance the economic competitiveness of the San Diego region.

Throughout her tenure, Jimena has held roles across multiple departments—including Marketing & Events, Public Affairs, and Business Programs—providing her with broad experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, communications, and cross-functional project management.

Since assuming the role of Business Programs Manager in late 2025, Jimena has led the design, development, and execution of the Chamber’s small business programming, creating a robust calendar of workshops, trainings, and seminars that serve businesses ranging from startups to large employers. She serves as the primary point of contact for program participants and partners, oversees all aspects of event planning and execution—including speaker recruitment, venue coordination, budgeting, and logistics—and uses participant feedback and program performance data to continuously improve offerings and ensure they address the evolving needs of the business community.
