Ivette Casillas, Mother, Councilmember from Tijuana and Merchant. I was born on March 21, 1973, being the intermediate sister of 3. My father was Jeweler and merchant, which would be the way I would decide to take. In 1991 I went to the Autonomous University of Baja California to the School of Accounting and Administration studying Business Administration, graduating from the career in 1996. During those years I became mother of my only son Luis Ricardo López Casillas. Finishing the University, I dedicated myself to the commerce as my main activity, taking the administration and management of the Jewelry "MEX-SUIZA" (JMS). In 2008, I was appointed Secretary of the Association of Merchants of the Central Zone until 2015 and I also participated as a member of the Tourism and Convention Committee of the city of Tijuana, Baja California, participating to the date. In 2011 I was named President of the Rotary Club of Tijuana, holding the position for 1 year, later in 2012-2013 I was appointed President of the Municipal Council of Civil Society Organizations. Within the period 2013-2015 I was appointed Vice President of Tourism in the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Tijuana, later in the period of 2016 I became a Councilmember by popular election of the City Council of Tijuana, presiding the Tourism, Trade and Sister Cities Commission.
