Courtney Hammond is a principal in Deloitte’s National Security Sector. For over 12 years, she has led some of the largest and most complex information technology and organizational transformation projects across the U.S. Federal Government. She currently leads several project teams within U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration and Services that are facilitating legitimate trade and travel, enhancing border security, and strengthening immigration services. In this capacity, Courtney supports leaders the U.S. Department of Homeland Security by delivering systems integration, business process improvement, fraud and predictive analytics, change management, strategic planning, and organizational performance. Courtney is a passionate advocate for the men and women who serve and protect our nation’s borders and enhance the integrity and efficiency of the U.S immigration system. She proudly serves on the Women in Homeland Security’s Board of Directors, a professional organization for women working in the field of Homeland Security. In her spare time, Courtney is a volunteer with the Border Patrol Foundation which provides assistance to families of agents who have been killed in the line of duty. Courtney holds an MBA and M.A. in International Affairs from American University and a B.A. in Communications and International Relations from Hollins University.
