Heidy Salum

Coming from an international background, Heidy Salum has over 15 years of experience in international marketing, business development and corporate relations. Previously, Salum has served as Director of Marketing and Commercial Development at Follajes Telon in Costa Rica and Director of Business Development at Alliant International University where she had the opportunity to be actively involved in the San Diego Community. Prior to that, she was an independent consultant representing several international companies in different industries in Mexico, United States and Costa Rica. Most recently she served as the Director of Binational Affairs for the Government of Baja California heading the positioning and promotion of the State, and strengthening and cultivating the binational relationship with both government and private sectors. In her role, she was involved in the diplomatic relationship at the state level as well and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and the International Business Affairs Committee. Heidy graduated with honors from United States International University (USIU) with a Bachelor’s degree in international business and a minor in marketing, with certificate programs in organizational leadership and international relations.
