Idara Ogunsaju is currently an administrator with Kaiser Permanente. For the past 10 years, Ms. Ogunsaju has been increasingly responsible for the successful operation and growth of multiple specialties located from San Marcos to Otay Mesa. Prior to taking on a leadership role in operations, Ms. Ogunsaju worked as a project manager and consultant for the implementation of the Kaiser Permanente Electronic Medical Record system, KP HealthConnect, which is an EPIC product. With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, Ms. Ogunsaju has also worked in research, customer service, labor relations, and health information systems. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physiological Science at UCLA and a Master’s Degree in HealthCare Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. San Diego has become home for Ms. Ogunsaju and her family. As part of getting to know the region and the opportunities to be engaged locally, Ms. Ogunsaju applied to the LEAD San Diego Impact program and graduated with the Class of 2017. Ms. Ogunsaju is on the board of LEAD San Diego, as well as the board of the San Diego Council on Literacy, serving as chair of the nominating committee and member of the healthcare literacy committee. Ms. Ogunsaju is a supporter of women as leaders and is passionate about maternal and child health.
