Jason Haber

Jason Haber is the Intergovernmental Affairs Director for the City of Carlsbad - supporting the city’s efforts to enhance relationships with regional, state and federal agencies and advance the city’s interests in legislative and regulatory matters. Jason joined the city as Assistant to the City Manager in 2015 after serving as the Grants and Community Programs Director for a sustainability nonprofit in Aspen, Colorado. Jason started his career in planning and redevelopment with the City of Santa Barbara, relocating to Colorado to serve as the Economic Resources Director for the Town of Snowmass Village, where he later served one term as an elected member of the Snowmass Village Town Council. Jason holds a BA in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!) and is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at San Diego State University.
