Jill Monroe joined Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) in August 2013 as the Director of Public Affairs. In this role Jill serves as a primary resource and point of contact for local neighbors, government entities, community organizations and media groups. She manages external strategic initiatives to enhance the university’s profile in the San Diego community and assists senior leaders with crisis management and communication. Active in state and national higher education associations, she closely monitors legislative and policy issues affecting higher education.
