Jorge's collaboration with Baja California Railroad began in 2016 as Sales & Marketing manager. Since 2018 his service to the company has focused on Public Relations & Strategic Planning. His experience as project manager for various organizations has allowed him to collaborate on the coordination of different task teams for the current Desert Line Project. His current activities are focuses on helping achieve the resolution for the International Rail Customs & Inspection facilities, this infrastructure will be located at the Tecate, BC - Division, CA border where both MX and US agencies will attend the logistic demand of rail cargo for the region. An important task for this stage of the project are the preliminary environmental surveys & studies that will determine the impact and strategic mitigation before the beginning of ground works to rehabilitate this 100 yr old railway.
