Kimberly Chen

Senate Health Committee

Kimberly Chen is a Principal Consultant for the Senate Health Committee where she is responsible for analyzing and staffing legislation related to California’s health care safety net programs (e.g. Medi-Cal), underserved populations, and tissue donation. Prior to joining the Committee, Kimberly was the State Policy Director of the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN), where she advocated for policies to advance health equity. She also previously worked as legislative staff for San Francisco Assemblymember Phil Ting. Kimberly earned her B.A. in Ethnic Studies and Gender & Women’s Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
