Luis Manuel Hernández González graduated as a Certified Public Accountant by the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) Mexicali campus,has Master's Degree in Administration from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a PhD in Business by the International College of the Atlantic (USA). In 1997 served as CareFusion’s account supervisor. In 2003 he was appointed Comptroller for the company Controles de Mexicali. He has also been a teacher since 2005, at the ITESM (Monterrey High Studies Technology Institute), Cetys University and Angok de Mexico. In 2012 he was appointed Vice President of Tijuana's Maquiladora Industry Association, the same year acquired the position as Secretary of the Medical Products Cluster, position he held up to July 2015. In 2013 was named Counselor in DEITAC (Economic and Industrial Development of Tijuana), inthat same year he served as Finance and Planning Manager within Greatbatch Medical. In 2016, was appointed President of the Maquiladora and Export Association - INDEX Zona Costa BC, position he presides up to this day; and at On 2016 he was appointed as Secretary of the Mexico Manufacturing Association, role he currently holds and represents more than 6000 companies and more than 3 million direct jobs. In 2018 he was appointed as USA-Mexico border Investment and Manufacturing leader as well, role that covers investment, softlandind and development of manufacturing capabilities for both countriesthe same time he serves as DJO Global CFO. He is Team member for Baja California on evaluating and approving projects for INADEM which is a Federal Funding. In 2017 he participated as co-author of the book Finance Unleashed, a book that explores future financial trends and the role of financial executives within the public and private sector, this book is published in Sweden and the United States with Skanor Group.
