Dr. Maureen Orey is a long time strategic partner with the SD Chamber by offering pro-bono workshops for chamber members for almost a decade. Her latest book A Year of Resilience was just released on Feb 1st, 2020 and was much more timely than she ever anticipated that it would be. She has spoken at numerous international conferences over the years on building resilience and helping people stay afloat in challenging times.

She is the Founder and CEO of the Workplace Learning & Performance Group which is celebrating 11 years in business this year. Maureen holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and has worked extensively developing over 15,000 leaders for corporate clients and volunteer organizations around the world. Her clients include Boeing, Microsoft, Northrop Grumman, Sony Corp & Scripps Health. She is passionate about helping organizations and leaders become more resilient by facilitating engaging conversations across multiple generations, cultures and personalities.
