LEAD’s Public Leadership Institute is a comprehensive training program for business people who are interested in either elected or appointed public office. In May, the class heard a presentation from Sarah Jarman from Councilmember Scott Sherman’s office on policy issues, particularly housing. They also enjoyed a presentation about cross-border issues by Chamber Vice President Paola Avila, and toured the San Diego International Airport. The five-month PLI program will wrap up in June.
