On April 26th, SANDAG, San Diego’s regional planning agency, released the 5 Big Moves, which includes strategic initiatives to use and build on evolving technology and add to existing infrastructure. The 5 Big Moves include: 1. Complete Corridors, 2. Transit Leap, 3. Mobility Hubs, 4. Flexible Fleets, and 5. Next Operating System. The SANDAG board is made up of mayors, council members, and supervisors from each of the region’s 18 cities and the county government. The finalized plan is expected to be released in November.
