San Diego’s Planning Commission unanimously passed the Mayor’s Housing Action Package 2.0 on Thursday, August 3rd. The agreed upon update includes adjusting code language to align with new state housing laws, updating the successful Complete Communities: Housing Solutions Program, incentivizing Accessory Dwelling Units and family housing, without the adoption of the controversial state law, SB-10, that would have allowed more multi-family units to be built on single-family plots. The Chamber spoke in support of this item.
