Building on previous collaborative efforts with the Ensenada EDC, the Chamber led another delegation trip to Ensenada to strengthen bilateral ties in the manufacturing and academic sectors. The delegation was able to tour NAVICO, a global leading supplier of integrated systems ranging from marine to recreational vehicles. They also visited the UNAM Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center where the university offers specialized programs to develop a globally competitive and skilled workforce and collaborate with San Diego companies like Qualcomm. Next steps include regional visits to Tecate and Mexicali to expand collaboration across the state of Baja.
