The City of San Diego’s $5.8B budget was passed unanimously on June 11 by the City Council. The new Fiscal Year begins on July 1, and the final budget prioritized maintaining funding for critical infrastructure, housing and homelessness, and public safety. 

The vote on the 11th restored funding for various programs, including about $1.1M for small business support.

In a tough budget year, the Mayor and Council were able to ensure that many important City priorities remain funded and that the City supports our business community, including our City’s small businesses.
