Update on ZEV Mobility with SDG&E and NADBank

Earlier this month, the Chamber co-hosted a binational business stakeholder meeting in partnership with SDG&E and the North American Development Bank to provide an update on the transition to zero emission vehicles, charging infrastructure, and financial opportunities for regional businesses. SDG&E’s Clean Transportation Policy Manager Tony Cruz shared an overview of the organization’s initiatives and resources to facilitate our region’s transition and a strategy comprising infrastructure, education, and incentives for the business sector. In addition, the NADBank shared an overview of available programs, financing measures, and milestones for the border region through ongoing partnerships.

The Chamber’s priority continues to be to ensure a smooth transition to cleaner energy and more sustainable practices, while ensuring proposals are balanced and reflect the economic realities for our region and avoiding any disruptions to integrated supply chains.
