“A great meal is an experience that nourishes more than the body.” — Alice Waters
The San Diego Regional Chamber joined the staff at Sear Stem Bar & Kitchen to celebrate their grand opening with a well-deserved ribbon cutting ceremony.
Owner Eddie Georgees and his co-owners, Jenny Georgees and Sam Anton, shared the story behind the menu: “This is what I eat at home. When my first wife passed away 11 years ago, my family learned how to ensure the health and quality of our food by using whole ingredients with no sugar. What was a tragedy turned into my most favorable endeavor.”
That story shows up in every corner of the restaurant. The food speaks for itself, the staff is genuine and welcoming, and each dish is as delicious as it is thoughtfully prepared.
Bring friends and family to experience this incredible venue firsthand. It isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a vibe and a culture.

The gift doesn’t stop there. Right next door is Gioia Vita Caffe, a coffee shop inspired and created by Eddie’s daughter, Gioia Georgees. It’s the perfect stop for a refreshing cup of coffee to finish off a memorable meal or start the day right.
“Family is at the heart of it all, and that love is poured into every cup and every plate.”
