Laura Coté, Chief Operations Officer. Ms. Coté’s major responsibilities include managing business operations and advisory services for the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG). She is responsible for overseeing the day-to day activities of communications and public outreach, business information and technology services, organization effectiveness and diversity and equity. She joined SANDAG in 2006, serving in a variety of leadership roles at the agency. Before joining SANDAG she was an executive management consultant working in Boston and New York City. She led teams that designed and delivered strategic organizational development programs for growth and profitability on behalf of venture capitalists focused on turnaround ventures. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside and holds a paralegal certification from the University of San Diego in corporate law.
