Marshall Anderson

Marshall oversees the Government Affairs department, which monitors legislation and advocates for items of interest to the Partnership and to Downtown San Diego. As a former policy aide to County Supervisor Greg Cox and Director of City Council Affairs for Mayor Kevin Faulconer, Marshall possesses a wealth of experience from the public sector. Marshall’s experience also includes a background in campaign management and consulting, which includes six races in San Diego. He was recognized in Our City Magazine “Who’s Next: 21 Future Leaders” and received the “Jack of Many Trades” award from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. Marshall currently sits on the San Diego County Taxpayers Association Board on behalf of DSDP, as well as the Circulate San Diego Policy Committee. A native San Diegan, Marshall attended The Bishop’s School before receiving his BA at Pitzer College, a member of the Claremont College Consortium. In his free time, Marshall enjoys reading, fishing from his kayak, and serving on the Board of Library Commissioners.
