Tony Manolatos

Tony is a seasoned strategist with 20 years of experience in public relations, politics and public policy. He is the lead consultant for the new Lilac Hills Ranch and is directing public relations for Protea Waterfront Development’s Seaport San Diego project. Tony helped establish the Clear the Air Coalition, which counts the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Partnership, and numerous pastors and other community leaders as members. Tony has developed and executed successful communication strategies for San Diego Unified School District, Sempra, Gafcon, California American Water, Community HousingWorks, the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors and the San Diego County Apartment Association. Tony has been a senior leader on several successful campaigns, including serving as spokesman for the campaign to elect Mayor Kevin Faulconer. Tony served on the mayor’s One San Diego Transition Advisory Committee, and as Communications Strategist for the mayor’s Citizens' Stadium Advisory Group. ​Tony provides strategic advice and tactical implementation, leveraging his experience in crisis communications, community engagement, coalition building and government affairs to help our clients achieve their goals. He leads media relations and community relations at MNM. Tony is a commentator for San Diego-based television and radio stations and is considered a peer by the press because of his work as an award-winning investigative and city hall reporter for The San Diego Union-Tribune, The Detroit News and Florida Today. Tony is a member of the Building Industry Association and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, serving on committees for each organization.
