San Diegans can hope to learn more about the County of San Diego Childcare Blueprint in the coming months as an advisory group, including participation from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, is currently working on the plan. The Chamber will be holding the first of many meetings on January 31 to gather member feedback and discuss incentives to bring more employers into the conversation to keep our workforce in San Diego.
The meeting will cover:
1. Introduction to the City’s Office of Youth and Child Success Executive Director
2. Review of County Childcare Blueprint and corresponding goals/strategies
3. Feedback development and next step discussion
4. Review of a tax-credit proposal at the federal level and possible Chamber engagement
