Making the San Diego region the best place to live and work means ensuring our workforce has what it needs to be successful. An important part of that is looking at who is leading our companies and organizations and making sure our leadership is diverse and gender-balanced.
It’s why we have created the All Our Talent: Women on Boards and Commissions initiative, an effort of the San Diego Regional Chamber Foundation with support from Mine The Gap, focused on addressing the need for more women on corporate, nonprofit, and government boards in our region. An effort that is especially critical in these trying times when resiliency and innovation are paramount.
Join us on Tuesday, June 23 for the launch of this important initiative. Joining us as special guests and featured speakers are First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom and Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis.
During this event, we’ll release the findings of our landscape analysis on the state of women on boards and commissions locally and discuss the disparities and barriers in our region’s leadership. This will give us a clear picture of where we stand, so we know where we can make the most impact. Your participation and support is key to the success of this initiative and to our region leading the way on gender balance and inclusivity.
