Women continue to shape California’s future by leading statewide initiatives, driving innovation, influencing policy, and strengthening the industries and communities that power our binational region. It’s especially true here in the CaliBaja corridor, where women in business, government, and public life are increasingly setting the terms for what growth and opportunity look like.
Join us Tuesday, September 8 for Voices in Leadership, a conversation series built around the women driving that change. This time, we’re sitting down with former California State Senator Toni Atkins.
Senator Atkins made history as the first woman and the first openly LGBTQ person to lead the State Legislature’s upper house. Over her career, she’s pushed through major expansions in housing policy and fought to widen economic opportunity for working Californians. She’ll join us to talk about that work, what she learned doing it, and what she still sees ahead for our region.
