What programs does LEAD San Diego offer?

LEAD offers three unique programs for mid-level professionals all the way up to the C-Suite: Influence, Advance, and Impact. Click here for full details on each of the LEAD programs.

What is Impact San Diego?

Impact is LEAD’s flagship program focusing on the issues and industries that are part of our region’s DNA. Click here to learn more about Impact San Diego.

Who is eligible to apply for Impact?

Anyone may apply for Impact, but the ideal candidates are mid- to senior-level managers who are interested in strengthening their personal leadership skills and taking a more active role in the community.

What is the tuition for Impact San Diego?

Impact tuition is $4,450. Members of San Diego Regional Chamber receive a $445 discount on program tuition.

How long is the Impact program?

Impact is a 10-month program. There is a half-day retreat to kick off the program and nine monthly seminars, each one full day from September to May. Impact culminates in a graduation and Leadership Action Team project showcase event in June.

What criteria will be used to select participants for Impact?

Participants will be selected from individuals who submit completed applications and participate in a personal interview. LEAD San Diego’s Selection Committee seeks to identify those most likely to commit to creating significant, meaningful change in the region. The committee selects a group of approximately 55-57 participants annually, with an emphasis on broad representation from occupational, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, as well as geographic areas and community interests.

How many participants are accepted in the Impact program?

Impact classes are kept to a maximum of 55-57 participants.

What is Influence San Diego?

Influence is a three-day crash course on San Diego’s business and civic landscape for C-level and senior executives. Click here for more information about Influence.

Who is eligible to apply for Influence?

Influence is designed specifically for C-level and senior executives from medium to large organizations.

What is the tuition for Influence?

Influence tuition is $3450; San Diego Regional Chamber members receive a $345 discount on tuition.

How long is the Influence program?

This crash course on San Diego’s business and civic landscape spans three full days, Thursday through Saturday, every spring.

What criteria will be used to select candidates for Influence?

Candidates must be C-level or senior executives, optimally from mid- to large-sized organizations. Influence is especially helpful for (but not limited to) executives who are new to the San Diego region, or new to their position.

How many participants are accepted in the Influence program?

Influence classes are kept to a maximum of 25 participants.

What is Advance?

Advance is a course specifically designed to empower and elevate women in the workplace. Click here to learn more about Advance.

Who is eligible to apply for Advance?

The ideal Advance candidates are top performing women with at least five years of professional experience and the drive to take their careers to the highest levels.

What is the tuition for Advance?

Tuition for Advance is $2,550; San Diego Regional Chamber members receive a $255 discount on tuition.

How long is the Advance program?

The Advance program spans from June through November with one half-day meeting each month.

What criteria will be used to select participants for Advance?

Participants will be selected based on professional experience, experience in leadership positions, commitment to professional development, and investment in community. The class is seeded to represent a diverse mix of industries and organizations, as well as diversity of experience and ethnicity.

How many participants are accepted in the Advance program?

Advance classes are kept to a maximum of 55-57 participants.

What are The Visionary Awards?

The Visionary Awards is LEAD San Diego’s annual opportunity to celebrate the work of inspirational San Diego leaders who have dedicated time, talent, and treasure to many civic and community initiatives to foster positive change in the San Diego and Northern Baja California region. The event also serves as a fundraiser for LEAD San Diego.
